Robert Healey

Robert T. Healey (“Bob”) received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and earned his Law Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1986.

Bob focuses his practice at Healey Law, LLC on Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Consumer Advocacy Litigation cases. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA). He is licensed to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois.

During law school, he worked as an intern and summer law clerk at the Evans & Dixon firm.  Upon graduating from law school, he was hired at Evans & Dixon as an associate and worked there from 1986 through 1994.

As an associate at Evans & Dixon he specialized in handling civil litigation and personal injury defense. In 1994, he took a position as staff counsel for the St. Louis office of CNA Insurance Companies specializing in civil litigation, personal injury and workers’ compensation defense.

In 1998 he joined the Swaney Law Firm where he specialized in representing injury victims, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Trucking Accident Claims, injured workers resulting from Work Accidents, and consumers who are harassed and abused by Debt Collectors, Collection Agencies, Credit Reporting Agencies and Mortgage Companies.

Bob was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and is a graduate of DeSmet High School, also a recipient of the Evans Scholarship in 1978.  Bob is married with three children.  He is a big sports fan and enjoys following current events and playing golf.

Contingent Fees
We handle many of our cases on a contingency fee basis. We only charge a fee if we are successful in recovering an award for you. Our fees are based on a percentage of any recovery we make for you.

Rules of Court require us to advise that clients may be responsible for costs/expenses. In most cases, however, these are deducted from any recovery at the conclusion of the matter.
